A coach can make all the difference in the world when it comes to athletic performance. At High Peaks Barbell Club Sports Performance & Private Training we select only the best of the best when it comes to our coaching staff. Unlike most gyms and fitness centers, our coaches are certified in the trenches not just in a book. Our coaches understand that while they should push athletes and individuals to the limit, effective training also requires positive reinforcement and the use of methods that cater to each athlete's as an individual.


Our Curriculum

Our programs are designed to help athletes/individuals achieve tangible results and continuously updated with the help of top-notch sports performance coaches whose backgrounds include coaching numerous elite and professional athletes, collegiate national champions, and All-Americans. Our programs are scientifically designed to improve speed, power, agility, flexibility, and overall better mobility.

Our Facility

Our facilities feature professional equipment from the best vendors in the business. Our climate-controlled training facilities offer:

  • Turf strips, ideal for perfecting multi-directional and linear speed movements in an indoor setting
  • Olympic-style weightlifting equipment, the same equipment college and pro athletes use to build explosive power and core strength


Our Technology

We use video analysis systems, which allows athletes to see their athletic performance in action, and allows our coaches to analyze their athletic performance. This gives coaches the opportunity to make corrections where necessary, and gives athletes the opportunity to see how they are improving.


Our Communication

Our coaches will periodically schedule meetings with athletes and parents to discuss the athlete's performance and improvement. This gives parents the opportunity to better understand the program, exactly what their child is experiencing, and to determine the value of the program to their child's athletic performance.

Pro Performance Program

The Choice of Pros. This is the most comprehensive and intense program available to the athlete. The Pro Performance Program maintains the lowest athlete to coach ratio to ensure the highest quality of evaluation, prescription, modification and education possible.

Elite Performance Program

This program is for the serious high school or college athlete looking to take their game to the next level. While not as comprehensive as the Pro Performance, this program still maintains a low athlete to coach ratio and the intensity of the Pro Performance with less overall training sessions per week.

• 4-5 days/week - 2 multi-session days

• 2 or 3 days/week of strength training

Executive Training Designed for the "weekend athlete" who wants to step up their fitness routine and train the way the pro's do.

High Peaks Barbell Club prides itself on providing each of its athletes with the best training possible. Personalized, results-oriented strength & conditioning programs for all sports and all levels of competition.

High Peaks Barbell Club is committed to improving athletic performance on the individual and team levels. The new 3,200 square foot Power Performance center boasts AstroTurf flooring and contains multi-functional Power Stations.

High Peaks Barbell Club 's two certified strength and conditioning coaches focus on developing the proper combination of strength, power, speed, agility, mobility, conditioning and body composition to enhance performance in all athletic arenas. It is the goal and challenge of the High Peaks Barbell Club Power staff for every athlete to be in a continual state of growth throughout their collegiate and athletic careers so that individually they can reach their maximum athletic potential. The department works closely with both the coaches and sports medicine staff to help achieve this goal.

High Peaks Barbell Club coaches have first-hand knowledge of what it takes to excel to the next level. Our programs are designed to help each scholastic student-athlete reach and exceed their personal training goals. We promise the following features: character development, nutritional advice and sport-specific program development.

High Peaks Barbell Club trains scholastic (16-18 yrs. old) athletes in a variety of sports, including football, soccer, baseball, basketball, and softball, to name a few.

Additionally, we emphasize the significance of accountability. Every student-athlete that walks through our doors is part of the High Peaks Barbell Club family, and therefore, is held accountable for his or her success. If the student-athlete is willing to make the effort, High Peaks Barbell Club will too. The end result is an unparallel level of physical and mental development that can’t be equaled anywhere else.
